COVID-19 — BEI Following Protocol
To our BEI Construction family and our clients:
We hope you are all staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. We realize there can be a lot of anxiety when going through a situation like this, and we want to express our sincere care and concern for you and your families.
As the situation with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, the health and welfare of our employees and all individuals associated with our business remains our highest priority. We are absolutely complying with shelter-in-place mandates.
We have developed a COVID-19 protocol for our employees, and we are closely monitoring the situation to ensure that we are taking the right precautions for our employees and business partners. This includes:
• Considering guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other local and federal government and public health agencies
• All of our office staff is working remotely
• All personnel for non-essential business and projects are working remotely
BEI has projects classified as “Essential Business” in Section 10 of the Public Health Orders issued by several Bay Area counties, including San Francisco and Santa Clara Counties. While continuing this work, we are following the recommendations of WHO and CDC for increased cleaning and disinfecting, monitoring personal health, as well as providing remote support.
For jobsite locations deemed “Essential Business” and where our personnel are working, BEI is:
• Following “social distancing” policies
• Minimizing human contact
• Implementing enhanced cleaning protocols
If you have questions or concerns please reach out directly to your BEI Project Manager or email Maggie Duenas, BEI’s Health and Safety Manager. You can also call our main phone number, which is (510) 521-3792, and leave a voicemail. We will route your voicemail to the appropriate contact for a timely response.
Please know that we share your concerns during this difficult time. We will continue to do everything we can to support the safety of all our employees, clients, and partners.
Sincerely,
Mike Rantz, President, BEI Construction
