In 1988, a group of construction professionals came together in Northern California to form BEI Construction, Inc. Initially focused on the technology sector, the company has expanded its capabilities over the years to support the evolving needs of clients across renewable energy, electrical construction, and technology infrastructure.
Today, BEI Construction supports utility-scale and commercial projects throughout the Western United States, including solar, battery energy storage, EV charging, substations, and low-voltage systems. Long-term client relationships remain a core part of the business, with more than half of the company’s annual work coming from existing clients.
