BEI Construction Ranks #2 Among California’s Large-Scale Solar Contractors

More than 404 MW of solar capacity installed in 2025 placed BEI Construction among the top-ranked companies on Solar Power World’s 2026 Top Solar Contractors List.

BEI ranked #2 among California’s large-scale solar contractors, #26 nationally, and #4 among electrical subcontractors.

A Standout Year

BEI’s results reflect the scale and diversity of the solar work completed in 2025, as well as the team’s ability to deliver across complex project types and construction environments.

Projects such as Eland 2 and Project Nexus were among the installations that contributed to this recognition. Eland 2 paired 374 MWdc of solar with 600 MWh of battery energy storage in Kern County, while the first-in-the-nation Project Nexus introduced a different set of construction challenges, with solar canopies installed over sections of an active canal system.

BEI also completed 2025 with zero OSHA-recordable incidents across nearly 487,000 work hours companywide, reflecting the team’s continued commitment to delivering complex projects safely.
